Halogen Sweater (sold out but this is one of my favorites) // Sweet & Spark Necklace (vintage, but love this one) // Kate Spade Ring // Rag & Bone Jeans // Tory Burch Bag (here’s the mini one) // Calvin Klein Coat (this one, is a great deal!) // Frye Boots
Oh, the joy of a comfy, basic (not that kind of basic) outfit. I can’t get enough, especially on rainy winter days when while it’s tempting to hole up indoors, you’re actually so glad you got dressed and went to brunch. Diana, Dana, and I went to Graffiato a couple of weeks ago. I’d been there for my birthday dinner last year but never had the brunch. Considering I spent the weekend battling a stomach bug, I didn’t feel tremendous and was worried about keeping food down. Glad I tried, because the apple stuffed french toast was phenomenal (and was the only thing I ate all day). Most of the portions are smaller than the french toast, but I had no complaints that my entree + bottomless pot of tea came out to under $15. Getting a variety of small plates can add up if you’re not careful. Still, I’m definitely planning on coming back on a day when I don’t feel completely miserable!
PS: I realize that most parts of this outfit are on the pricey side (and that I desperately need lint roller), but I’m happy to admit that aside from the necklace and Fryes (that were a huge splurge – and went on sale promptly after I bought them, ugh!), everything was fairly heavily discounted. Keep an eye out for Rag & Bone in one of Shopbop’s annual 25% off sales, misc. Tory Burch sample-like sales, and of course, Nordstrom :)
