Ok, so confession time: you’ve seen basically this same outfit before. Like, two months ago. Since I’ve been trying really hard to shoot looks as I wear them in real life (rather than do a few outfit photos all at once), it completely slipped my mind that I wore the “summer version” of this in June. Oops.
BUT, since these photos turned out so well and the backdrop + accessories are completely different, I wanted to share how fall-friendly this top and jeans could be. For those milder autumn days–especially if you live on the west coast coast or in the south–pointed toe flats are a great way to dress up whites. This Buckley K top is one of those amazing, year-round wardrobe staples; I’m planning to wear it with a cardigan, dark jeans, and heeled boots in the coming months.
Katie snapped these photos following a meeting at the rewardStyle offices. In an effort to at least try to embrace fall in Dallas’ 90+ degree heat, I skipped the skirt or dress and opted for pants. I intended to have a cardigan in this shoot (to you know, make it a little more fall-ey), but obviously forgot it at home after checking the forecast.
IN THIS POST:
Buckley K Top
Old Navy Jeans
Tory Burch Robinson Middy Satchel (current version)
BP. Moveover Flats
Ran-Ban Sunglasses (currently on sale!)
BaubleBar Earrings (similar)
Vintage Bracelets (similar)
How good are these earrings?! They make you feel instantly dressed up and were a total steal when I spotted them for $10 a few months ago. You’ll be seeing them a bunch in the upcoming season. I’ve linked to a similar pair above!
Also: I know these are the only sunglasses I wear, and that’s because they’re the only sunglasses I have. I’m super picky and haven’t found a pair worthy of purchasing (that isn’t like $200) so thanks for bearing with me as that search continues :) Oh and samesies on the bag: shooting photos in real life = having the same pieces appear on repeat. Hey, at least you know I’m serious when I say they’re worthwhile investments that I use all the time! But really, I’ll try and branch out soon…
