Winter Travel Outfit

Do you own a blanket scarf? If you don’t, I recommend adding one to your wishlist this holiday season. They’re as cozy as they look, double as a blanket (naturally), and are completely practical in the sense that they protect you from the elements and make the best travel accessory. For all of you who freeze on trains or airplanes, here’s your sartorial answer!

Comfort is key when traveling and jeans are about as constricting/ “uncomfortable” as I’m willing to get. Anyone else change out of jeans the second they get home? They’re frequently my bottom of choice for going out in public, but I can’t stand to have them on in the comfort of my own home!

I also like of having a pair of statement earrings on hand for dressing up simple outfits like this…an easy solution for the times you head straight from the airport to the restaurant, or you had to take the train after work and don’t get in until 10pm (#NYCproblems…anyone else?).

Also, if you’re looking for a great casual everyday bag under $30, this monogram tote is a great option. I’ve been giving my well-worn L.L. Bean tote a break and trying to switch it up a little. Both bags are large enough to comfortably hold a 13″ MacBook and then some!
