Another Monday, but made a little easier by the fact that I baked up pumpkin muffins some slow Mexican cooker chicken for meals this week…phew! I’ve been feeling pretty crappy/fending off a cold that won’t seem to go away, so got lots of sleep this weekend. Everyone and their mother seemed to have hit up a pumpkin patch or apple orchard, making for some pretty high quality social media content. Loooove fall.
This plaid number is pretty much the best fall skirt ever. Thick material, versatile color combo, and under $100. I’ll be wearing it with bare legs for a couple more weeks and adding tights with booties and riding boots for the rest of the season. Zippers aren’t usually my thing, but I didn’t mind it at all on this particular skirt. It kind of adds a little something modern to a very traditional pattern!
Also: you’ve seen this Vera Bradley bag before and I’ve been using it non-stop since getting it in August. My purse collection isn’t huge (#cityliving) so each one ideally has to be usable year-round. We know the brand for their signature quilted prints, but they’ve recently re-branded to carry so much more (remember this post?). If you’re looking for something similar but larger, go with this one…it’s big enough to carry around all the day’s essentials, including a little water bottle, DSLR camera, cardigan, etc.–also: hi, side zipper!
