I always want to redecorate and while I’m no pro and don’t have much rhyme or reason behind how I decorate (but do know a little more thanks to this book and this book), I love scouring books, the internet, or magazines for abodes that both fit the aesthetic that inspires me most and broadens my decorating horizons. If you’ve been following along for awhile you know that I gravitate towards a happy mix of sleek and modern + traditional. Still, I wouldn’t say that my style has truly been defined; they claim that it constantly evolves, and that’s okay by me.
One thing I’ve noticed when browsing Pinterest is that I pin many images that possess one or two specific details that really sticks out to me. Tables, moulding, linens, pillows, accent tables, decorative pieces, and the like. Here are some favorite recent finds– I really do want a traditional bar cart (Roxy’s, please) but think an accent table makes for a cool– and often budget-friendly– look. Stark white, delicate bedding just appeals to me in a way I can’t explain… it’s so perfect looking (and undoubtably a bitch to clean)… and wouldn’t chic ottomans be so practical at the foot of your bed for extra blankets, a robe, etc.? Some more picks below, all thanks to one of my favorite time sucks, One Kings Lane!
