A blue and white outfit…are you surprised? But seriously–if you don’t have any gingham in your closet, I’d highly recommend changing that! The classic pattern has been everywhere this spring and is more accessible than ever.
And by accessible, I mean $8 accessible…this shirt is a steal right now! There are limited sizes available but given its popularity, hopefully Old Navy will restock soon. Other patterns are $6 so check those out too if gingham isn’t your thing. I was skeptical about this silhouette in the photos online but loved the delicate flowiness (a word?) in person. Plus, anything that works this well with white skinny jeans is a winner in my book!
The cutest little duck family drifted by in the Potomac! I’ll take them all, please :)
You usually hear me talk about investing in high-quality pieces that you’ll keep for years to come, but there’s something to be said about rotating some less expensive pieces into your wardrobe. Old Navy has had some beautiful pieces this season (sizing can be hit or miss, but returns are free so order a couple to try on; I’m wearing a small in this tank) and I scooped up three or four things before Thailand.
I also love any top that can be worn to work and off the clock, and this one fits the bill if you throw on a blazer or cardigan. Plus, you barely need to accessorize thanks to the peplum and the pattern, which makes getting dressed 10x easier!
