It seems like every year goes by more quickly than the last, does it? While most people couldn’t be happier to show this year the door, I feel like I have to give 2017 some credit–it was good to me for several reasons, including two big ones…J and I moved in together in the spring, I picked up some more exciting freelance work, and I decided to go to grad school and then changed my mind a few months later (the latter sounds really weird written out but it turned out to be my second most popular post of the year, so you can read about it below :))
Looking back at the past year, I pulled the top 10 posts of the year based on Google Analytics–these were all published in 2017 and had the most pageviews. A few of my older posts actually bring in the most traffic (like this one, this one, and this one) but for the purpose of this recap, I wanted to stick with the ones written this year. Some of my favorites didn’t make the cut metrics wise, but I included five-ish of them them below anyway!
And I can’t close out the year without thanking you guys for your support and readership–it seems like everyone has a blog or robust social media presence nowadays, and it means the world that people actually take the time to visit mine. I’ve spent the past week doing a lot of things on the backend and planning for the new year, so am excited to continue sharing and growing this little site. Cheers to a wonderful 2018, and hope you all enjoy a few more days off before diving in head first!
