2018 Holiday Gift Guide: Stocking Stuffers

We’re close to the end of the window where you can order online to receive items by Christmas, so this is my second to last gift guide and the last one later this week will be for true last minute gifts! Hopefully most of you are done with your shopping but if you aren’t, retailers are making it increasingly easy to leave things to the last minute.

I’ve heard more and more people this year allude to shopping for “stocking stuffers” as the main event, rather than buying large presents for family members. Most of the items here are very budget-friendly but the rest of my gift guides have small items that are a little more pricey, if you’re trying to stuff stockings extra generously this year!

STOCKING STUFFER IDEAS:

ONE: Dry skin body brush ($10) // TWO: Mark & Graham leather measuring tape ($28; on sale!) // THREE: Brooks Brothers keychain ($19.50) // FOUR: Invisibobble hairties ($8) // FIVE: Bombas athletic socks ($12) // SIX: Sweet & Spark vintage earrings ($58) // SEVEN: What Do You Meme? ($30) // EIGHT: Origins ‘Blooming Sheer’ Tinted Lip Balm ($20) // NINE: Mueller Ice Bag ($6.50)

DRY SKIN BODY BRUSH: Grace has me pretty sold on dry brushing (perhaps a goal for 2019?) and this brush would be the perfect stocking stuffer! I love that it comes with a little travel bag, too.

MARK & GRAHAM LEATHER MEASURING TAPE: A measuring tape is one of those items you never know you needed–I mostly use mine to measure things around the house and clothing I’m selling online. This one is adorable and monogrammable! A little luxury you never knew you wanted.

BROOKS BROTHERS KEYCHAIN: I’ve had this keychain for about five years now and love that it’s simple, small, and lightweight. It’s substantial enough to help me spot my keys in a catchall or purse but doesn’t add extra bulk, which I love.

INVISIBOBBLE HAIRTIES: My most favorite hairties! The box is tiny and these would be the ultimate stocking stuffer. I use them daily!

BOMBAS ATHLETIC SOCKS: J has a pair of Bombas socks and I feel like people constantly rave about their fit + quality. $12 is normally a little pricey for a pair of athletic socks, but feels more appropriate when they’re part of a gift. People joke that socks are a boring but essential part of a well-stocked stocking so if you want to take things to the next level this year, this is a great option.

SWEET & SPARK VINTAGE EARRINGS: I have a huge soft spot for vintage jewelry and no one has a better curated collection than Sweet & Spark. I have a similar pair of gold knot earrings and wear them often–there’s something for everyone, whether the recipient is into statements or studs!

WHAT DO YOU MEME?: I feel like I’m the only person who hasn’t actually played What Do You Meme? but it’s a crowd favorite and would transition well into a Christmas Day game night as long as young kids aren’t partaking :)

ORIGINS ‘BLOOMING SHEER’ TINTED LIP BALM: This lip balm was one of my Black Friday purchases and I LOVE it! It’s moisturizing and has just the right amount of color

MUELLER ICE BAG: I really like having an ice bag on hand for random injuries or headaches (they do wonders for headaches)–it’s a practical thing that takes up very little space but feels a lot better than using a plastic baggie when you need ice.

So many great stocking stuffers on this guide! I never knew I wanted a little measuring tape and an ice bag is brilliant for kids too. They’re always getting “hurt” and want ice for it!

So true re: the ice bag for kids! I miss the cute novelty ones they used to (and probably still do!) sell.
