You’ve probably noticed a lack of outfit posts in the past few weeks and I say it every year, but this is really the toughest time to put together shoots for the blog! I’ve been wearing a bunch of my tried and true summer favorites (some of which you can see here) and am itching for the seasons to actually turn. This weekend was the big “closet switchover” and since we’re still a week or two away from being able to wear pretty much everything I pulled out from our under-bed storage, I’m relying on pieces like this light wool sweater that pairs just as well with jeans as it does shorts. I actually leave it out year-round and wore it a couple times in the early summer…it’s old but continues to be a workhorse in my closet thanks to the fit, light weight, and neutral color!
The perfect Sarah Flint heels for fall
I’ve linked to a couple similar sweaters below but the real MVPs here are my shoes–the perfect Sarah Flint heels for fall! If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen me posting about SF over the past couple of weeks. I’m so excited to be part of their ambassador program and will be sharing more about the brand and my favorite styles. You may remember me mentioning these sandals a couple times this summer (including here and here) and they quickly became one of my favorite investments. I’d always been drawn to their Perfect Pump–which I can now attest to actually being perfect–but since I work in a casual office, bought the sandals first since I knew they’d see more wear.
I know many of you work in a more traditional office setting and find yourself in heels regularly, so if that’s you–or if you’re just looking to incorporate comfort into your dressier wardrobe–these shoes will change your life. I know that’s dramatic, but I can’t understate how impressed I was that these felt broken in on wear one. The only thing I noticed was that the toe box felt a little snug at first, but it started to soften within an hour. Not exaggerating: I’ve truly never put on a more comfortable heel and can’t wait to continue wearing these all year round. (You can read more about what makes the shoe so comfortable on each product page!) They pair just as well with jeans and a sweater as they do with a sheath or cocktail dress and while they’re an investment, I have a discount code to share: you can take $45 off your first SF order with code MONICA45! Feel free to use it yourself and pass it along to others :)
A few people have asked me about size, fit, and comfort via Instagram so if you have any questions, leave them in the comments below, DM me, or email me at email@example.com! I’m really thoughtful about my splurges and while this pair of pumps was gifted to me, bought the sandals myself this summer and would 100% buy these heels with my own money now that I’ve tried them. Stay tuned for some other ways to style these + my other SF favorites–there are many!

P.S. More fall totes I love.
