It’s finally here: My first gift guide! I’m doing them differently this year…there will be one large post with gift ideas for women (this one), another for men, and a couple more–but not 10 or so like in years past! Each post will just be really comprehensive because every time I do more posts and break things down by price or niche category, I end up wanting to include many of the same items across different guides and it just becomes disorganized having to flag things between specific categories. This should make things much easier to navigate. Also–the men’s guide will also be up by Thursday…stay tuned!
P.S. My previous gift guides–so many favorites make an appearance!
My pair of Lake Pajamas is one of the best things I purchased all year, and I just snagged another set in their Black Friday sale. The quality is incredible and I’m convinced that the pima cotton makes up the most luxurious, breathable PJs out there. They’re rarely marked down so this is the best time to buy if you’ve been considering a pair for yourself or a loved one!
Sarah Flint’s “Perfect Pumps” definitely live up to their name–the height is perfect, they’re constructed with comfort in mind (if the toe box is snug at first, it stretches!), and they come so many colors. Give a special lady on your list a major shoe upgrade! You can take $50 off your first pair of SF shoes with code BAMONICA50.
I’ve raved about Dudley Stephens fleeces countless times so I’m just going to say that they’re worth every penny and would make an incredible gift for any woman in your life! The turtleneck styles are great for cooler temperatures but I wear my terry boatneck year-round thanks to the lighter weight. You really can’t go wrong…go up if you’re between sizes!
My T3 hair dryer was a gift to myself when I got my job last year, and my only regret is not buying it sooner. A “fancy” hair dryer is such a luxury but also a game changer when it comes to both the speed of drying your hair, as well as the outcome…it cut my dry time in half and leaves my hair looking healthy and shiny with zero product! Most people don’t buy themselves a new hair dryer unless one breaks so this upgrade would be a great holiday gift!
There are so many nice leather totes on the market but the size of this Cuyana bag stood out to me…it’s the same shape as larger tote son the market but is scaled down, yet still fits a 13″ laptop and everything you need for a day. I’ve used it for everyday and traveled with it…it’s the perfect gift for someone who has everything! (For something full-sized, I love my Everlane Day Market Tote!)
J got me this necklace for Christmas a couple of years ago and I love how versatile it is for everyday wear. The price is also incredible for the quality!
These are perfect for the newly engaged but would also be a fun gift for anyone who loves giving their jewelry a little extra TLC! They’d make a great stocking stuffer, too.
Truffle has been making wonderful pouches for years but their Jet Set pouch is unlike anything else I’ve seen before! It has the brand’s signature clear “window” but the shape is perfect for when you need to travel with a structured case. I love that the zipper goes all the way around and it would be just as functional tossed in your bag as it would on a countertop or dresser.
Cashmere is one of my favorite luxuries and it’s thankfully become much more affordable in recent years! Everlane has a couple styles priced at $100 and they’re perfect for both men and women. I wear a size medium and love the looser yet polished fit!
“Fancy” notebooks are such a treat and Appointed makes the best of the best! I used this exact one at work this year and J now swears by their yearly planner. I’m going to snag one for next year!
I’m convinced that ice rollers are the thing you don’t know you’re missing till you try it! The price is great and I think this would be perfect for someone who seemingly has everything or a white elephant exchange.
I’ve discovered some amazing women-owned businesses this year and one of them is Thom Kelly. Megan is so incredibly sweet and I helped her redesign the TK hang tags this fall! She just released this light sweatshirt and it is INCREDIBLE. I wear a M and would say it’s TTS.
A must for a royals fan! Angela Kelly is QEII’s dresser and a close confidant, and this book chronicles their time together as well as sheds light on the Queen’s wardrobe decisions. It’s beautiful and well-priced, too!
I’m terrible at doing my hair so didn’t want to invest in a pricey wand as I learned to get the hang of things! This $20 Remington is great–the reviews speak for themselves.
I interviewed the women behind ChappyWrap in yesterday’s post and shared why I’m such a fan of the brand, but their blankets make the best gift for even the toughest to shop for–I love that they’re large enough to function as a quilt on a queen bed but also manageable to keep on the couch (where we use ours!).
I have a soft spot for L.L. Bean pullovers (this always makes my gift guides, so I’m trying to branch out just a little!) and I LOVE this one! I got it in cream a couple years ago and love how polished it looks while still being incredibly cozy–it’s thinly fleece-lined! It’s the perfect combination of stylish and functional.
This is the best little accessory for under $10! It’s brought new life to several of my old sweaters and works incredibly well–there’s a reason Remington is a household name!
I am so firmly in the #teamsailmail camp and believe you can’t possibly have enough stationery! Grove Street Press makes some of the best on the market and I’m a sucker for a good lined envelope. It’s always so fun to see what cards they churn out, too!
The ultimate travel wrap! This would be the perfect indulgent gift if you have a larger budget (but keep an eye on White & Warren’s site for sale colors + sitewide discounts) and many people I know who have it say that it’s the best cashmere wrap on the market. It’s perfect for the jetsetter or someone who’s always cold!
I’m usually a drugstore mascara girl but recently picked this up from Follain and was really impressed! It’s definitely more of a splurge but is a great “clean” option if you’re trying to incorporate more of those products into your routine. It goes on seamlessly and stays on all day!
