This week flew by…I was in NYC/the surrounding area from Saturday afternoon and got back to Tuesday afternoon. It was rainy most of the time I was up there and there was a lot of subway-ing and shlepping things around which made me wish for a 7pm bedtime when I got back to DC. Things are picking up with my new job and so far, working from home is going really well–I’m limiting midday outings and really enjoying throwing together lunch using the oven or stove!
Weekend plans are minimal…some wedding to-dos, taking Millie to the dog park, seeing The King’s Speech (I loved the movie so am really excited!) and laying low for Valentine’s Day, which means likely ordering sushi or Chinese food from one of our favorite spots. It’s been so dreary all week that I’m actually excited for temperatures to drop because we’re getting a break from all the rain! Have a great one, friends!
+ A great read (from my favorite AdWeek reporter!) on the potential future brand of Harry & Meghan.
+ I bookmarked this for some sounding healthy food options…the salmon looks especially good!
+ A really cool look behind the scenes of a top wardrobe stylist (whose client roster is under wraps, but reportedly includes Princess Eugenie!)
+ To many outside the interior design world, picking a white paint color sounds like an easy task. Spoiler: it’s not! We agonized over what to go with when we painted our place, and settled on Benjamin Moore’s Paper White. I bookmarked this post for the future…Erin does a great job breaking down the difference between all the shades!
+ I loved following Katie’s honeymoon on Instagram Stories and her comprehensive blog post recapping their safari trip triggered major wanderlust!
+ How to throw the Galentine’s brunch of your dreams…I always wish Claire and I lived closer, but seeing this in action made me really wish we did!
+ These taco bowls look incredible (and easy, without obscure ingredients!).
ON THE BLOG…
+ My favorite jeans on super sale–I have two pairs!
+ 2020 travel plans + how we booked them–airline fares included.
+ Do engagement party dresses have to be white? (Plus 20+ white dress picks under $200!)
+ This may be my favorite drink recipe on my blog!
