Full disclosure: This was initially an “April Edition” but has since been updated–whoops! I’ve been shopping a little more regularly the past few weeks now that the prospect of “doing things” again is finally within reach. Here are a few things I’ve purchased/have caught my eye…
HILL HOUSE TEDDY TOP: Since Nap Dresses are a personal favorite, I figured this light sweatshirt would be, too. I’d been eyeing it for a couple of months before finally picking it up in March and confirm that it’s surprisingly flattering and super soft. I know I’ll reach for it just as much with shorts as with jeans and leggings.
EMERSON FRY SWEATER: I’ve had the hardest time finding a nice 100% cotton ivory sweater in a classic silhouette–count on Emerson Fry to come through! Their products are so well-made (read more here) and I love the couple pieces I own. This sweater is a bit of a splurge but one I’ll invest in at some point since it’ll be easy to wear indefinitely year round.
MALABAR COLLECTIVE TABLECLOTH: Malabar Collective was an Instagram discovery from a few months ago and I immediately fell in love with all the beautiful linens and patterns. The tablecloths, placemats, dinner napkins, and cocktail squares are available at a range of prices, making them easy to gift both yourself and a stylish hostess with the mostess. Watching emerging brands take off is one of my favorite things, and I’m happy to be witnessing that happen here!
GAP SQUARENECK EYELET MIDI DRESS: I haven’t bought anything from Gap in a really long time but recently picked up this dress and am looking forward to wearing it throughout the summer! The fit is really flattering and I love the simplicity and classic silhouette. Much of what I’ve seen in the casual dress space lately has included elastic and poofy sleeves, so I was happy to find something a little more basic (though it does have some smocking on the back–also something we can’t seem to escape right now!).
JB x LAKE TANK PAJAMA SET: If you’ve been a reader for awhile you’ve heard me rave about Lake Pajamas; they’re basically the only PJs I wear anymore. I was planning to make myself resist something from their collaboration with Julia, but caved and got this tank and shorts set. Most of the collection is sold out but there are a handful of styles still available!
