A handful of recent purchases + things I’ve been loving…
SARAH FLINT ‘SACCHETTO’ FLATS: I stopped into the Sarah Flint Soho pop-up a couple weeks ago and fell in love with their Sacchetto flats. I’ve worked with the brand for a couple of years now and couldn’t wait to add another classic pair to my collection! The leather is insanely soft and I don’t suspect these will require any break-in time…they’ll go well with most things, but I’m especially excited to pair them with denim and a simple sweater or button down. (You can always use code SARAHFLINT-BAMONICAD for $50 off your first pair of SF shoes!)
AYR SHIRT: Speaking of button downs! Every year, I make a “To Buy” list on my phone with items that I hope to purchase. An AYR shirt has been on that list since 2019 or early 2020 and I finally bit the bullet and snagged one a couple weeks ago. It’s just as good as I’d hoped–if not better! The fit is very generous but the seams work particularly well for my broad shoulders, and the material is a nice weight without being too thin or too bulky. I’ll be snagging the white one next!
ON CLOUD SNEAKERS: I actually brought these back in June, but intended to wear them year-round. I wear them multiple times a week and they’re a nice second option to my beloved Tretorns. While pricey, the quality is excellent and they’re really comfortable–plus, they look just as good with casual dresses as they do denim.
MULBERRY ‘DARLEY’ CROSSBODY: This bag was a spring 2019 purchase from our London trip and while I’ll use it year-round, it’s especially fun to wear in the fall and winter! Black or cognac are usually my go-to bag colors but the oxblood caught my attention in person and was the perfect mix of classic but also different than anything else in my closet. It’s certainly not a roomy bag, but fits my large iPhone, keys, lip balm, mask, cards, and a slim bottle of hand sanitizer. I’d initially been saving it for more special occasions, but have started reaching for it consistently–consider this your reminder to actually use the nice things in your home or closet :)
ATHLETA LEGGINGS: Even though we’re leaving the house way more than we were this time last year, I still wear leggings more often than I care to admit and am in the process of replacing some old worn out pairs with these from Athleta. So far I have two pairs and they’re really wonderful…I didn’t realize how worn out my other pairs looked until I got these and saw them side by side.
