Strawberry Banana Grapefruit Smoothie

Servings 1 smoothie


  • 8 oz grapefruit juice (I use Trader Joe's brand)
  • 1 cup spinach (I used frozen…this particular time I only had about 1/2 a cup, so note that 1 cup will turn your smoothie a little browner)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup strawberries (frozen or fresh)


  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth. If you don’t have a high-powered blender and are using frozen strawberries, either run them under lukewarm water to thaw slightly or let them sit in the blender with the juice + banana for a few minutes. If your blender is overflowing with ingredients, just blend a little as you go.

  2. Pour into a glass and serve…it’s really that easy!
